Caravan and Camping has always been a popular way to enjoy the coast and it’s a great way to get the family to spend some quality time together, take part in great outdoor activities and enjoy that strong sense of com- munity. Be sure to check out the South Coast’s Caravan, Camping and Holiday Shows in Nowra and Batemans Bay. Festivals are blooming up and down the coast with Escape ARTfest tak- ing to the streets of Milton and Ulladulla with plenty of workshops, exhibi- tions and performances. There’s a big Garden Expo in the district too! ‘Folk By The Sea’ brings Kiama alive with music over three days- and if you love world music you will fall in love with this intimate festival. Kangaroo Valley and Majors Creek host their folk festivals too – always crowd pleasers in delightful rural settings. The Shoalhven River Festival offers lots of fun by the river as well as water sports. Moruya is set to rock this October 17-19 with the annual revitalised Jazz weekend being turned into ‘Granite Town’ - Moruya’s Jazz, Food and Funk Festival. Viva La Gong on November 9 will have something for everyone.
