This three-day event from Friday to Sunday, sees Shellharbour come alive with a variety of unique fun events for all ages never seen in the Illawarra at any other time of the year. the Shellharbour Sports Star of theYear Awards Presentation Dinner will be held at Shellharbour Wor kers Club hosting s ome of Shellharbour's most talented sporting people. is the from 9am-3pm held at Skiway Park, Oak Flats. Local businesses and community organisations are encouraged to enter a team of 20 people to challenge one another on Lake Illawarra. Dragon Boats NSW provide the boats and sweepers and the community is enc ouraged to come down and support the teams and cheer them on as it's a great event for spectators too! On is the Shell Cove .This 5 or 9km walk or run through Shell Cove's reser ves is open to all ages with proceeds to the NSW Cancer Council and Shellharbour Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Early bird entry is available prior to the event or registrations are available on the day. The inaugural will be held from 1pm to 4pm on at the Shellharbour City Stadium and surrounding sporting fields at the Croom Regional Sporting Complex, Albion Park. This Expo will provide families details on a wide variety of sports that are available in Shellharbour and surrounding areas. There will be exciting active demonstrations and 'come n try' events that will appeal to the whole family and fun activities for children to participate in. There will be exhibitions from martial arts, dance groups, zumba and you can introduce yourself to the local Roller Derby girls.
