South Coast Leisure Times : Autumn 2014
Scarborough/Thirroul www.southcoastleisuretimes.com.au South Coast 11 a must do...... The combination of Matthew Gillett’s Gallery and the Scarborough Hotel with its astounding views, vibrant atmosphere, modern healthy menu and real coffee create one of the best relaxing and unique destinations on the coast. Besides exhibiting his own wor ks, the gallery presents a creative selection of modern works by guest artists. Matthew’s goal as curator was to create an informal gallery space that you can enjoy, roam freely in, chat about the art, laugh, sit and ponder, Art is to be enjoyed, discussed, loved, hated, stared at and gotten lost in and to inspire and provoke emotion and contribute to the character of any home. The environment of the Scarbourough Hotel is spectacular, perched on a cliff top with expansive views over the sparkling Pacific Ocean. It’s mesmerising, once settled you won’t want to leave.
